The Washington Romance Writers are a fun group of women (and one lucky man ) who, true to their name, live near Washington D.C. and write romances. One thing you should know about romance writers — they give away great swag. I always go to romance conferences armed with an extra empty bag, which is inevitably stuffed with chocolates, wine, candy, books, notecards, bookmarks, pens, emery boards, and semi-naked-firemen calendars by the end.
