TRC provides volunteers to read to children in homeless shelters and low-income community centers, invites kids who are transitioning out of homeless programs to join their book club which provides them free books, trains parents on how to read with their children, and trains social workers on how to incorporate reading into their programs. Not a crime show, you say? Polygamy is still a crime in the USA, isn’t it?
Well even if I don’t win, it was worth visiting, just for the Vodka and Beer Bong video – it’s good to keep up with what our kids are doing!

If I go fiction today I’ll say Mystic River by Dennis Lehane, but I’m with Mary Beth on Tana French.’m reading Faithful Place now and the woman is amazing.
